No two of these handmade hearts will look the same. That's because they are reflective of another place and time. The tradition of the old world glass blowers was, at the end of their shift, to take all of the left-over bits of glass and make them into a colourful ball (or heart shape) which would be given to friends and family to hang in windows as a token of friendship and good luck. What nicer sentiment could you pass along to your attendants? Each Friendship Heart comes with a card that explains its history in both English and French.
